Today I’m presenting you with the track Black Amur by the German composer and piano player Lucia Philippe. Lucia has written music since she was a child but was tolk she couldn’t be a composer when she grew up:
Because first, the profession does not really exist, and second, I am a woman so it is even less possible for me.
She is now studying music and aiming for the goal no one said was possible!
The track Black Amur was released as a single on the 16th of December, 2022.
Tell us something about your track Black Amur!
The story I had in mind while composing Black Amur was the fate of Philipp Mickenbecker from the YouTube Channel „The Real Life Guys“. He died at a young age; he was optimistic until the end and died in peace.
With this in mind, I wanted to create a hymn as a remembrance.So it is rather a song about a peaceful and happy life than about death.
I actually finished writing Black Amur one year ago, and never felt like changing anything. This is not taken for granted as a composer – and a good sign that it is time for publishing, I think.
