Spotted: Helen Keeling-Marston – Sunrise

Today I’m presenting you with the track Sunrise by the British composer and piano player Helen Keeling-Marston. Helen is based in Hampshire, and you can read more about Helens music here!

I’ve played piano since I was half my height and have composed on and off for many years, but have made composing my focus in the past few years.

The track Sunrise was released as a single on the 11th of April, 2025, but will also be part of an upcoming EP.

Tell us something about your track Sunrise!
Sunrise is intended to convey the feeling you get when on holiday somewhere warm. You wake up when a tiny bit of light starts filtering into your room, open your curtains and watch the sun rise, set against a beautiful view. It makes you feel chilled, happy and mellow. I always like to release my happier, major key pieces when the weather starts getting better here in the UK, and I release my more melancholic pieces over autumn and winter when I think we’re all a little more introspective.

Thank you very much for this Helen!
