Today I’m introducing you to the British composer and piano player Miguel Strong and his track Sketches. Miguel lives in a small village in England, and when he’s not occupied doing his day job, spending time with his family or playing with his band, he records his own little tunes at home.
The track Sketches was released as a single on the 29th of may, 2023.
Tell us something about your track Sketches!
Sketches is one of my solo piano pieces which I have just released as a single. I created it during an improvisation session one morning – I had been listening to romantic-style classical music whilst sitting outside with a book. The tune found its way into my head a few minutes later so I sat down and managed to play it before it disappeared! I think the piece can be listened to in the same way it was inspired – sitting down with a good book 😊
