Today I’m presenting you with the track Planétes soueurs by the Canadian composer and piano player Th´loneus Garcia. Théloneus was born in Paris and have played the piano since the age of eight. He made his first compositions around the age of 16 and has a bachelor of Music in jazz performance at McGill University.
The track Planétes soeurs was released as a single on the 23rd of augusti, 2024, but will also be part of an album in November.
Tell us something about your track Planétes soueurs!
Planètes Sœurs is about a child who sits, looks up at the stars and wonders if there’s another similar planet, a sister planet somewhere in space. It’s the idea that there must be someone on earth who looks like you. It’s our relationship with the world, and humanity. It’s a light, a form of optimism. I composed this piece in Montreal in the spring of 2023.
