Today I’m introducing you to the track Lieve bu the Italian composer and piano player Antonio Ministeri, originally from Sicily but not located in Rovigo where he also studied music composition. He comes from a family of music where his father played drums, and Antonio started to plat the piano at the age of seven.
The track Lieve was released on the album In Bloom with came out on the 7th of July 2023.
Tell us something about your track Lieve!
“Lieve” is the only track to be written for solo piano. it is a very slow, intimate and light track. Lieve is the moment where everything empties out, where the sound becomes minimal, a light moment of peace for the listener. I wrote this piece because I wanted to dedicate, within the album, a moment to my first instrument that allowed me to express my emotions, my ideas, through music. Lightness is a fundamental element of the album and a solo piano piece represents its most intimate moment, the one that must be experienced calmly and delicately. No hurry.
