Today I’m presenting you with the track View From The Other Room by the American composer and piano player Ben Bromfield. Ben is I well renovated film a television composer who is mostly known from his work with the Netflix series “Ginny & Gorgia”. He began paying the piano at the age of six with focus on jazz music.
The track View From The Other Room was released as a single on the 3rd of April, but will also be part of an upcoming EP.
Tell us something about your track View From The Other Room!
This solo piano piece is the product of an improvisational session I held by myself after a week of collaboration with one of my closest friends. I was experimenting with some different recording techniques while my friend was visiting, and I decided to incorporate some of them into my solo piano recording, which is what gives this piece’s production its distinct “grit” and ambience. Emotionally, the primary feeling of this piece is one of nostalgia, which I believe stems from my feelings at the time, having just reconnected creatively with a close friend.
