Today I’m presenting you with the track Mir by the dutch composer and piano player Daniël Tomás. Daniël started to compose music more seriously about ten years ago and moves between improvisation, classical music and nature. He lives in a tiny house near the Wadden Sea where much of hos inspiration comes from.
The track Mir was released as a single on the 25th of April, 2025, but will also be part of an upcoming album.
Tell us something about your track Mir!
“Mir” emerges as the contemplative counterpoint to the chaotic energies of Ecopathy. Where the previous EP Urban Amnesia navigated the disorienting pulse of city life, “Mir” invites listeners into a space of clarity and reflection. The track excavates a moment of peace amid modern turbulence, offering a sonic landscape that breathes with intention and purpose. “Mir” doesn’t reject the urban experience but transforms it, finding harmony in what once felt fragmented.
Thank you very much for this Daniël!
