Today I’m presenting you with the Swedish composer and piano player Fredrik Hermansson and his moniker Erik Jändel. Fredrik is a composer and jazz pianist, and the name Jändel is taken from his fathers side of the family. Fredrik makes jazz releases under his own name, so the moniker was started for his more classical compositions.
The track Alhambra was released as a single on the 9th of may, 2021.
Tell us something about your track Alhambra!
Alhambra is a 13th century moorish city in Spain, typically built in the mountains in a fortress-like fashion. The city’s winding stairs and incredible vistas is a perfect place for soul searching and to literally have your thoughts wander. This is the first single released in Erik Jändel’s catalogue, the second one, Sarabande due out on 28 May, with many more to follow.
