Today I’m presenting you with the track the Mehari of a Tuareg by the Spanish composer and piano player Fabián dos Rios. Fabian was born and raised on the mediterranean coast of Spain and started his artistic path back in 2004. Now he composes music inspired by books like The Alchemist and Le Petit Prince.

Guided by the mystical allure of the Sahara and based on the novel “Tuareg” by Alberto Vazquez Figueroa, this piano piece becomes the narrating bond between an enduring friendship.
At its heart lies the triste but mesmerizing story of a loyal camel (Mehari) that fought alongside a nomad of the Tuareg in their relentless quest to survive the unforgiving sands.
As the desert piano winds howl, each note was composed while reading the lines of the Tuareg and the Mehari’s unyielding spirit.
