Today I’m presenting you with the track Soul Song No. 8 by the Finnish composer and piano player Heikki Hallanoro from the arctic circle in Finland. Heikki has played the piano since he was a little kid and making music is now his livelihood.

Tell us something about your track Soul Song No. 8!
I’m a former astronomer, and a very sleepy one – which is not ideal setup :), so for me this song is the ultimate stargazing sleep song. After long day I get on the bed, shut my eyes and let it all go – the memories and events of the day flash in but I let the darkness swallow them. I get lighter and I start to rise up in the air through the darkness, up to the space among the shiny stars and fly in the midst of greatest of wonders. And I feel being whole – a wave in space.
