Today I’m presenting you with the track Leaving the Harbour by the composer and piano player Joe Semple, currently based in Leeds, UK. Joe has been making music since he was seven years old, and around nine years ago he began to focus heavily on composing for piano.
The track Leaving the harbour is released as a single on 25th august, 2023.
Tell us something about your track Leaving the Harbour!
I composed this track with the aim of creating a calm and peaceful environment. Therefore, when recording it I gave it a soft sound, and played it in a rubato style. The track is named ‘Leaving the harbour’ as when listening back to it I found that it did feel peaceful, but also hinted at adventure to come and I pictured a still and expansive seascape, with a boat setting out from the coast.
