Today I’m introducing you to the Portuguese composer and piano player José Tornada and his track Wild promises. José started composing his own music on the piano at the age of nine; influenced by 90s Japanese video games. 20 years later he released his first music.
The track Wild Promises was released as a single on the 1st of august, 2022, but will also be part of an upcoming album.
Tell us something about your track Wild Promises!
This track is heavily influenced by one of my favorite composers from my childhood – Philip Glass. In the song, I tried to capture the feeling of expectations and promises that we all make to ourselves. The soft piano in the verse is a metaphor for our inner hope, while the build-up in the finale is the realization of those expectations.
