Today I’m introducing you to the track Wonderness by the Scottish composer and piano player Julia Thomsen, currently located in London. Julia started playing the piano at the age of five and wrote her first pieces of music about 20 years ago. She also plays clarinet; which she played in the school orchestra.
The track Wonderness was released as a single on the 4th of February, 2022.
Tell us something about your track Wonderness!
Wonderness was composed while watching feel good Romantic Korean Dramas during lockdown to my families amusement (all boys) – my son often says hello Miss K Drama. This was also my first felt noire solo piano composition where I tried to go back in time when all you could smell were roses, bringing wonderful childhood memories to the forefront.
