Today I’m introducing you to the track Borealis by the Italian composer and piano player Marco Apicell, born and raised in Rome but now located in Los Angeles, after a short stop in Rotterdam. Marco us classical trained on the piano and studied at the conservatory from the age of 10. He always has a strong interest in jazz and contemporary music. He now works as a musician, composer and producer.
The track Borealis was released as a single on the 28th of January, 2022.

I composed this song during one of my introspective/meditative composition sessions where I sit at the piano and let my mind wander and my hands run free. When I play it, images come to my mind: a sunset, fields, mountains in the distance, two lovers, uncertain about the future but still hopeful…
