Today I’m presenting you with the track Anticipatory Grief by the Spanish composer Pablo J. Garmon living near Geneva. Pablo started making music when he was very young:
probably at the same time that I started imagining journeys, and for the very same reason: because I have always loved a good story.
He also makes music for film and video games!
The track Anticipatory Grief was released on the album Sketches of a Lockdown which was released on the 15th of October, 2020.
Tell us something about your track Anticipatory Grief!
‘Anticipatory Grief’ represents an often overlooked perspective of the current pandemic: the fear of loss. The notes of an old piano reverberate slowly, their harmonics joining ambient strings and synths in an exploration of sorrow and longing. As the future takes a backseat and uncertainty is broadcasted 24 hours a day, we yearn for connection in isolation. And what connects the world more than music?
Thank you very much Pablo!
