Today I’m introducing you to the latest track by Filip Rachunek aka. Fencer, the Czech composer and piano player based in Prague. Filip started to produce music back in the 90s which he composed and arranged on his PC. After a long pause he restarted his musical life, and I guess thats when Fencer was born!
The song was released on the album Light In The Darkness, in April of 2020.
Tell us something about your track Spherical Drift!
When I get the initial idea of a new song, I usually sit at my piano and try to express the primary motive in several variations. Then I import the melody to DAW and play it with various virtual pianos to find the perfect sound. This time, the excellent instrument called Noire was the winner. After many tests and replays, I finally chose the preset called “Spherical Drift” – hence the song name. I also didn’t feel like making just a solo piano track, so a string orchestra enhances the Noire sound in many parts. And I think the rainy sound effects helped a great deal to build the atmosphere. I love to play the piano while a storm rages outside, and raindrops fall on windows – it is magical. 🙂
Thank you for sharing this with us Filip!
