Today I’m presenting you with the track TheSilenceBetween by the American composer and piano player Fion Kippenren. Fion started out as a drummer but eventually started gaining interest for the guitar and piano as well.
The joy in creating for me comes just from trying to free my thoughts and let happen whatever happens.

Tell us something about your track TheSilenceBetween!
There’s an idea and saying that has taken on different forms from different people. I was reminded of it recently in this form – the tones in a song are essential but almost more importantly is the silence between them. This started me on my way of playing with the long pauses and each note’s placement within the melody. This produced the calming, mellow, meandering vibe in this song.
