Today I’m presenting you with the track From Barren Ground by the composer and piano player Lodesa. Lodesa is originally from the Philippines but is now located just outside Toronto, Canada. Ladosi has been teaching music production for the past three years and started releasing music in January. He took piano lessons for about two years as a kid but now mainly played by ear.
The track From Barren Ground was released as a single on the 31st of July, 2023.
Tell us something about your track From Barren Ground!
This is the first solo piano song I’ve written and released. I actually intended to write a lo-fi track with the piano as just one instrument in the mix… but when I started adding drums and bass I felt like I was just detracting from the piano. I’m happy with how it turned out.
