Today I’m presenting you to the track Photograph by the Italian composer and piano player Gianluca Piacenza. Gianluca began studying the piano at the age of sex and has graduated in classical piano and composition. He also enjoys playing around with electronic music; synthesizers and sequencers.
The track Photograph was released as a single on the 6th of august of 2021, and will also be included on an EP to in September, 2021.
Tell us something about your track Photograph!
This song was inspired by the finding of an old b&w photo during a relocation. A beautiful portrait of my family I which made all my memories come back, inspiring this emotional, melancholic and intimate solo piano track. I decided to include in the recording the mechanical piano noises and also the ambience and room tones to give the track a more “real” and lo-fi feel.
