Today I’m introducing you to the track Pigalle by the Italian composer and piano player Virginio Aiello. He started studying the piano and accordion at the age of since and grew a passion for improvised music. Since 2019 he has steadily released albums and singles for solo piano. He is currently a piano teacher and has published books on piano teaching.
This track Pigalle was released as a single on July 16, 2021.
Tell us something about your track Pigalle!
It is a melancholy piano piece that evokes the memory of Paris at night in the early 1900s.I love the city of Paris, I’ve been there several times, it’s a fascinating city full of art. I walked through all the neighborhoods at night and was fascinated by Montmartre and Pigalle. This song is my sound vision of this corner of the city. It represents my imaginary vision of Paris 100 years ago.
