Today I’m presenting you with the track A Quiet Romance by the British composer and piano player Helkemar. Helkemar has played the piano for over 30 years and has always worked with composing.
The track A Quiet Romance was released as a single on the 30th of januaru, 2026, but will also be part of an upcoming album.
Tell us something about your track A Quiet Romance!
I wanted to write, perform and release a piano piece in time for Valentine’s Day, but I wanted my piece to be about unrequited love. As such, hopefully my piece conveys a range of different emotions, including hope and despair. I think unrequited love is something everyone experiences at least once in their lives, so I thought I’d create a track to reflect that common shared experience and feeling.
