Today I’m introducing you to the musical duo Martin Martyn, which concists of the two piano players and composers Hideyuki Hashimoto & Yuri Kawai, and their track trust. Their piano solos are often created as a musical diary of their journeys. Based in Japan yet recording across Europe, they continue to share their music with the world.
The track trust was released as a single on the 19th of december, 2025, but will also be featured an album in 2026.
Tell us something about your track trust!
“Trust” is the first single from Winter Notes, an album recorded during a journey through Iceland. The album was recorded in November 2023 at Hljoðriti, one of the oldest and most respected recording studios in Iceland. This solo piano piece carries a gentle, song-like melody that resonates with quiet intimacy.
