Today I’m introducing you to the composer and piano player James Asher and his track Gleam on. James comes from the UK and is originally a drummer and sound engineer.
The track Gleam on was released as a single on the 15th of September, 2021.
Tell us something about your track Gleam on!
Reflecting on the special nature of certain friendships in this track I was endeavouring to give musical expression to these musings. Always with such a scenario there has to be an element of mixed emotions, or if you like sweet and sour. Partly because it is in the nature of human relations to waver and vary, both according to how the world progresses, and how fortune fares and on occasion takes its toll. In the saddest instance of course death provides one of the cruellest blows. But even in more mild situations, when the quality of contact with say a family member or close friend has been brilliant, it can be very hard to reconcile how this has change to something quite opposite. But let’s face it, we’ve all been there in one form or another!
Thanks for this James!
