Today I’m presenting you with the track Childhood sunshine by the Chinese composer and piano player Jin Ma. Jin used to work as a network engineer and TV producer but gave all that up to study music composition instead.
The track Childhood Sunshine was released as a single on the 6th of January, 2023.
Tell us something about your track Childhood Sunshine!
The inspiration of this piece comes from a memory fragment of my childhood when I was bathed in sunshine and the related beautiful feelings. In this piece, I used uncommon melodic elements and harmonic development to interpret the warm and blurred feeling under the sunshine, and the mechanized accompaniment texture of Baroque style to interpret the unskilled and immature feeling of childhood behavior and movements. I want to use these elements in music to bring the pure and beautiful feeling of childhood to every listener.
