Today I’m presenting you with the track Reflections by the british composer Lewis Bolland. Lewis is a pianist and composer based in Berkshire, England. He has spent most of his life behind the piano, performing in a wide range of settings—from luxury hotels to the Wimbledon Championships, as well as weddings and onboard ships.
Although his professional life is often busy and full on, he started his project rest. as a way to find his own sense of stillness. Through this project, he writes the music he personally needs to hear—pieces designed to help both himself and others escape, unwind, and rest.
The track Reflections was released on the EP rest. volume 4 which came out on the 6th of march, 2026.
Tell us something about your track Reflections!
“Reflections” came from those cold winter days when the weather makes you feel a bit lost or stuck. I used repeating melodies that circle around to create a feeling of deep thinking and looking inward. It’s about that mix of feelings we all have: sometimes feeling a bit adrift, but then finding a quiet strength when you realize just how far you’ve actually come.
Thank you for sending this in Lewis!
