Today I’m introducing you to the Italian composer and piano player Marco Crivellaro and his track Drone. Marco makes a living as a composer for documentaries, short filmes and videos and has played the piano since the age of six. He started writing music about twelve years ago.
The track Drone is taken from the soundtrack of the movie Donnafugata.
Tell us something about your track Drone!
“Drone” is featured in “Donnafugata (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)”, the ep of a soundtrack I composed last year for a short movie called “Donnafugata”. It’s a piano solo composition I originally wrote for “Donnafugata”, but it wasn’t used in the movie. So I decided to release it because I really love it. I remember I started to compose it by improvising some chords, and it took me about two days to write the melody. I really love playing it during my concerts, in particolar accompanied by cello.
Thank you very much for this Marco!
