Spotted: Marcus Grimm – Hanami

Spotted: Marcus Grimm – Hanami

Today I’m introducing you to Italian composer Marcus Grimm. Marcus has played the piano since the age of six, but didn’t start writing his own music until about a year ago.

The track Hanami is taken from the album 2 planets which was released in November of 2019. The album was recorded at Teatro delle Voci in Treviso, while the masters made in London, at the Abbey Road Studios.

Tell us something about your track Hanami!
“Hanami” is the fourth track of 2 Planets. I wrote it 4 years ago, to describe the feelings of Hanami, Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the transient beauty of Sakura flowers. In the song, there are also a female voice and a cello, to enrich the arrangement.  I remember the strong emotion while I was recording it.

Thank you for sending this track my way!
