Today I’m presenting you to the latest track, Distance, by the Australian composer and piano player Melany Thompson from Sydney. Melany started playing the piano when she was four years old and started making music as a teenager.
The track Distance was released as a single on the 6th of November, 2020 and is also part of the collection ‘Dream Chasers Vol. 2 – On the Edge of Silence’.
Tell us something about your track Distance!
‘Distance’ was actually composed before the pandemic hit, when I was contemplating the idea of having some distance from certain people and things in my life. You have to be careful what you wish for because then all of a sudden we were all social distancing and isolated from each other which was a very drastic answer to my silent wish.
