Today I’m presenting you with the track Little Windows by the Irish composer and piano player Neil Foster. Neil started to play the piano as soon he was tall enough to reach the keys, and he is also a trained percussionist.
The track Little Windows was released as a single on the 17th of march, 2022.
Tell us something about your track Little Windows!
‘Little Windows’, a simple, minimalist, neo-classical piano piece. This track started life as an improvisation: using just three notes, first rising, then falling, I sat down and played this when I was feeling overwhelmed and tired – I needed some stillness, space and a safe, reassuring structure. Improvised moments don’t always make it into the studio, but this kind of calm simplicity and thoughtful, reflective stillness is important right now and it needed to be shared.
