Today I’m introducing you to American composer and pianist Nina Keith from Philadelphia. Nina also play a lot of instruments, and among the piano you can also find vocals, flute, electronics and found sounds on her recordings.
The track In The Woods We Both Saw It, Weren’t Dreaming is released as a single, but will also be included on her album MARANASATI 19111, which will be out on augusti the 30th.
Tell us something about your song In The Woods We Both Saw It, Weren’t Dreaming!
This was the first song I wrote for the album. It’s a piano piece that I overdubbed with various idiophones that were processed with a tape recorder and Ableton. It is about a patch of woods down the street from the house I grew up in where paranormal and tragic things happened.
