Today I’m introducing you to Gabriel Chan or Norvik, which is an ambient/neo-classical artist based out of Hong Kong. Gabriel was raised in Melbourne and has his roots in classical music. Besides making music under the name Norvik, he has also made scores for short films and commercials.
The song Stay with me is taken from the album Summerstart, which was released mid august of 2019.
Tell us something about your track Stay with me!
Stay With Me is a love theme in the soundtrack to the non-existent film Summerstart. Summerstart is a story about a group of old friends who meet again at a funeral. It is about youth and nostalgia. The track occurs at a moment in the story when two of the friends admit their past fondness for each other.
It was composed at a time when I was very influenced by Japanese Soundtracks. It is supposed to have a lullaby feel to it, delicate and easy on the ears.
