Today I’m presenting you with a brand new track by the Polish composer and piano player Piotr Wiese, who you can read all about in this Behind the piano article. Piano has been in Piotr’s life as long as he can remember: by his side throughout travel across 3 different countries, from bustling cities like Warsaw, Berlin, London to tiny villages deep in the woods. He always yearned to study music, improve, work, gather knowledge, experience life from different perspectives, and later, to transform his experiences and feelings into music.
The track Coming Home was released as a single on the 24th of June, 2022 but will also be part of an EP in September.
Tell us something about your track Coming home!
Coming Home is all about a journey – the one you undertake to get to know your true self. Sometimes a lot of time has to pass to get to the place where you live your own life, rather than the lives of others. And then when you get to that place it feels like ‘coming home’ from a long journey. There can nonetheless be sadness because there are people, often loved ones, you have to leave behind to live in peace with yourself amidst the joy of the return to self.
