Spotted: Cloud Opacity – Past is forgiving

Today I’m introducing you with the track Past is forgiving by the Canadian composer and piano player Cloud Opacity from Vancouver. He explains himself as “Graphic designer in the daytime, musician and producer after hours”. He has played the guitar since he was a teenager and started playing around with the piano a few years ago.

The track “Past is Forgiving” was released as a single on June 15, 2022.

Tell us something about your track Past is forgiving!
This track is actually one of the first piano themes I came up with. It’s very simple, yet I feel a personal connection with it, as it always pushes me into the pool of memories of past events, places I visited and people I met. It’s a bit sour and melancholic, but still hopeful.

For some strange reason, I couldn’t finish this track for several years, constantly returning to it and relistening, until I finally had an urge to complete it. Some projects require a bit of aging, I guess.
