Today I’m introducing you to yet another track by the Swedish composer and piano player Ruben Fjellner from Umeå. Ruben has been making music for quite some time and has a background in EDM. When making piano music; he had to learn how to take a different approach in his music making.
It’s limitations made me go deeper into the composition side of things. Since then, I have not been able to stop.
The track Alicia was released as a single on the 6th of September, 2021.
Tell us something about your track Alicia!
This piece is inspired by my friend Alicia. An amazing person whom I’ve known for quite some time. She’s one of those friends who you can go years without talking to, only to find the friendship to be just as enjoyable once you both meet up again, as if no time had passed at all. On the production side of things, I really put a lot of space echo (RE-201) concentrated to the high frequencies, that for me gives the track kind of a silver sheen in terms of coloration.
