Today I’m introducing you to the French composer Guillaume de Marqué and the track Intérieur. Guillaume makes music using the name Sairen, and has played the piano since the age of five, and started composing at the age of 13.
The track “Intérieur” features on the album “Musique pour clavier” which was released on the 10th of January, 2021.
Tell us something about your track Intéreur!
The track “Intéreur” is an introspective and melancholic piece for piano. I must then confess a secret: I don’t know how to play the piano. I write the notes one by one on software, I define the duration, the velocity for each of them, the tempo, the nuances … and the computer plays. Today, virtual instruments are of very good quality.
When I was younger, I very often listened and especially watched my father play the piano (Bach, Rachmaninov, improvisations), and I think it allowed me to immerse myself in this instrument and the way of playing it. I am nevertheless satisfied when people tell me that I play well!
