Today I’m introducing you to composer and piano player Sarah Watson from Ontario Canada. Sarah has been composing music her entire life, but just recently started to take it more seriously and making her music available for the great masses!
The song Kenneth Brown was released as a single in early October of 2019.
Tell us something about your song Kenneth Brown!
This song was written in memory of my incredible Grandfather, Kenneth Brown, who passed away 9 years ago from the release date (October 2nd). He was passionate about music, and he passed that passion on to his family. Anytime I visited my grandparents, he would always ask me to sit down at the piano and play him something. When I would ask him to play something in return, I was always so inspired by his blissful style and jazzy touch. He was a total natural.
I’ve had a photo of him next to my piano for years, so it made perfect sense to compose and release a song in his name. The soft piano sound of the track is reminiscent of the soft sound of his upright piano. It makes me so happy that his name and photo will forever live on in the world of music!
