Today I’m presenting you with the track Homebound by the dutch composer and piano player Serge Dusault. Serge has studied at the conservatory in Rotterdam and graduated in keys in 2008. He is active in numerous bands and releases solo work on Spotify under his own name.
The track Homebound was released as a single on the 14th of January, 2022.
Tell us something about your track Homebound!
Homebound is written at home on my old Russian felted upright piano during one of the lockdowns, having double feelings because I like it at home but not always or when it is obligatory. I record everything in my studio on my other piano, this take is the very first take done in the studio. For me the most ‘’magic’’ in this song has to do with the fact the track is not ‘’light’’ nor ‘’dark”. Just like being at home (or going home) can be a blessing or a curse, it’s not one or the other.
