Spotted: Stéphane Horeczko – Niños

Today I’m presenting you with a new track by French composer, pianist, and sound designer Stéphane Horeczko, who has previously been featured here on Sleepy Songs with his piece New York Waltz.

Stéphane studied jazz, improvisation, and sound synthesis in Los Angeles before continuing his musical education in Paris, where he studied classical composition, instrumentation, and orchestration. Throughout his career, he has composed music for short films and worked on sound identities for major brands, including Baccarat and Fnac.

His new track Niños is a delicate and nostalgic piano piece exploring childhood, memories, and the emotions that remain with us over time.

Tell us something about your track Niños!

Niños: is a piece that opens like a window into childhood. Intimate and delicate, it explores memory and what remains of it. Bursts of laughter, silences, blurred images, and emotions that take on a new color over time.

Carried by a refined felt upright piano, “Niños” tells the story of what is lost and what remains. The harmonies echo each other like fragments of memories coming back, while the soft and fragile melody invites us to slow down and feel.
Between nostalgia, tenderness, and modesty, this piece unfolds a sensitive, almost cinematic universe where everyone can find a piece of their own past.

Thank you for sending this to me!
