Today I’m presenting you with the track Drowned Lake by the British composer and piano player Stephen Caulfield. Stephen is based in the UK and has been playing piano, as well as other instruments, since an early childhood. His work is strongly inspired by Icelandic landscapes and nature.

Tell us something about the track Drowned Lake!
Drowned Lake is a piano-led ambient piece built around reflective piano lines and subtle synth textures. It captures the stillness and quiet melancholy of water gathering into an artificial lake, while hinting at the environmental cost beneath its calm surface. I wanted the music to feel both beautiful and uneasy, as though you’re drawn in by the calmness but aware of the hidden story underneath.
