Today I’m presenting to you the latest track by the American composer Tristan Eckerson from Cincinnati, Ohio. Tristan has played the piano since he was a little kid and has been producing music professionally for the past five years. He also makes music using the moniker Purple Decades.
Waiting for Rain is released as a single and came out on August 28th of 2020.
Tell us something about your track Waiting for Rain!
Waiting for Rain is my latest composition for solo piano. Following my usual ultra minimalist, contemporary classical style, the piece differs slightly in that it introduces a bit of pop and Motown aesthetic through the use of altered tones in the harmonic progression. The exaggerated use of ambience and reverb used in the production serves to further the feeling of wanderlust that I had at the time of its composition.
