Today I’m introducing you to the American composer and self taught pianist Chafa, based in Los Angeles. Chafa began teaching himself the piano when he was 12 years old, and has been performing and composing since then.
The track Toulouse was released as a single on the 1st of February, 2021 but is planned to be featured on an upcoming album as well.
Tell us something about your track Toulouse!
Toulouse was inspired during my visit to France last year. The beautiful city glowed a warm red color in the evenings as the sun reflected off of the brick buildings. I wrote the initial melody while I was there, borrowing a friends keyboard. The rest of the song was written when I returned home, as I reflected upon my time and experience there.
