Today I’m introducing you to the track Disquiet from the American composer and piano player Joshua Carlton, living in Eugene, Oregon. Joshua have been composing music for the past 12 years, and has toured the world with his band This Patch of Sky. His focus right now is however this solo project, which I’m writing about right now!
The track Disquiet was released as a single on the 15th of January 2021, but will also be part of the album Moonlight under the black flag in February.
Tell us something about your track Disquiet!
When sitting down to compose Disquiet I was looking to write a piece that projected longing and tension, which is felt between the sparse notes.
