Today I’m presenting you with a new track by the British composer and piano player Mark Sutton. Mark originates from Stockport and lived in Reading for most of his young life but is now located in Christchurch in Dorset. Mark grew up as one of eight kids in his family, and every one of them was encouraged by their parents to enjoy music. He started playing the piano at the age of 10.
The track View from a Window was released as a single on the 12th of December, 2021.
Tell us something about your track View from a Window!
This tune, as with most of my recent works was inspired by being in lockdown during this world-wide situation. I envisaged many folks just looking out of their window wondering what on Earth is going on with their lives and the welfare of the planet. The result, like a lot of my tunes, is very nostalgic, hope full and evocative of happier memories. I’ve received a lot of great feedback from people saying it does just that, which is very gratifying.
