Today I’m introducing you to the track Chrysalide by the Canadian composer and piano player Mathieu Bourret. Mathieu discovered the piano at the age of four and it has been a key element of his life since.
The track Chrysalide was released as a single on the 29th of April, 2021 but will also be part of an upcoming EP.
Tell us something about your track Chrysalide!
We can imagine the power of the sun on a snowy hillock or on a gloomy state towards the end of winter. Melting, returning energy, vital energy allowing nature to return to creation. It is with this inspiration that I composed the piece CHRYSALIDE. With my hands on the piano, my gaze fixed on a lake and the crackle of the fireplace, that was all it took to find the musical idea. I bless these inspiring moments and i hope you’ll enjoy.
